Citroen – Air B.V. Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that Citroen – Air B.V. receives from you, i.e. personal data you provide when you call us, email us, send us a WhatsApp or other text message, use our online chat feature, subscribe to our newsletter, complete a contact form on our website, and visit our website.
What we use your personal data for

We use your personal data to get in touch with you to deal with your query or request to us and/or to enter into and perform a contract with you. We pursue a legitimate interest in processing this personal data, as it enables us to deal with your query or request. This personal data is also necessary to be able to enter into a contract with you and for the adequate performance of the contract.

How long we store your personal data for

Citroen – Air B.V. will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which your personal data is collected. If we do not enter into a contract with you, we will not store your personal data for longer than one year. If we have entered into a contract with you, we will store your personal data for five years from the date that mutual obligations under the contract cease to apply. If you have placed an order with us, we will store your personal data for seven years after you have accepted delivery of your order. After this term, we will proceed to delete your personal data from our systems.

Transfer of your personal data to third parties

We only transfer your personal data to third parties when it is necessary to be able to deal with your query or request, for the performance of a contract with you, or to meet a legal obligation. We transfer your personal data to payment services providers, delivery services, accountants, Intrum Justitia, Kiyoh, and to a Citroen – Air B.V. agent in the Czech Republic. We will not sell your personal data to third parties.

Personal data received from third parties

There are occasions where our suppliers are contacted directly. Our suppliers will then pass the name and phone number of the person who contacted them on to us, so that we can contact this person.

Personal data you share when visiting our website: cookies

Smartsupp

Citroen – Air B.V. uses the Smartsupp live chat application. If you share information as part of an online chat session or in a pre-chat form, this information will also be stored on Smartsupp servers. Citroen – Air B.V. can access and process your personal data that has been collected through the Smartsupp live chat application on the Citroen – Air B.V. website. Technical information: while using the Smartsupp live chat feature, certain technical data about visits may be collected by Smartsupp, such as the IP address, browser type and version, operating system type and version, estimated location, etc. Technical information stored in cookie files will be used only to ensure the proper functioning of the Smartsupp services.
