Dyson lamps are designed to support well-being and task performance with specially designed optics and cooling tube technology that protect light quality for up to 60 years. There is a 2-5 year warranty on Dyson lamps and they exceed office lighting standards.Watch how the Dyson Solarcycle task lamp tracks, detects and adjusts light, providing optimal lighting throughout the day. The lamp adjusts the color temperature the brightness to local daylight. Without proper cooling, LED lamps can quickly overheat, causing fading and discoloration. The Solarcycle task lamp uses cooling tube technology to efficiently cool the LEDs, keeping the light quality constant for 60 years. As a result, color and brightness can be reliably adjusted.

Can I start using the lamp before I connect to the Dyson Link app?
Yes, the lamp also works without connecting it to the app.
Should I let the cooling tube cool down before reversing the arm direction?

Do I need to buy replacement LED bulbs for this lamp?

Why has the name of this product changed from Dyson Lightcycle™ to Dyson Solarcycle™?
The product name has been changed to Dyson Solarcycle™ because it better reflects what our engineers have in mind when developing new lighting technology: to get as close as possible to sunlight - from color temperature to color rendering index (CRI), relative intensity, seasonality, location and lifespan. This is a global adaptation launched as of January 2022.
